A BREATH OF FRESH AIR

Our mission is to enhance the traditional character of Boothbay Harbor and pursue opportunities to protect the working waterfront, while expanding public access to the water for the benefit of residents and visitors alike.

A VISION BECOMES OUR MISSION

In July 2018, our community came together to purchase and preserve a vital waterfront parcel in one of Maine’s most beloved harbors.

We are lifelong, year-round and Summer residents, fishermen and tradespeople, hospitality workers, kids, educators and preservationists who believe that a resource as beautiful and important as this one must be secured for generations to come.

Join the ever-growing list of supporters and help us raise the final funds to build our BBH Eastside Waterfront Park. A park for all! Preserving waterfront access for everyone, today and for generations to come.

“The development pressures on Boothbay Harbor’s waterfront continue to grow. So it’s gratifying that the Boothbay Harbor Waterfront Preservation group is committed to creating and maintaining public access. to some of that shoreline.

The park will become a haven for lobstermen, recreational boaters and anyone who just wants to enjoy the water. Its good for residents and visitors alike.”
